Advocates for public-access TV say proposed legislation could end public-access TV nationwide and jeopardize community-based programs that "mirror community interest and needs," like Manhattan Neighborhood Network’s Youth Channel, the New York Times reported. Advocates of the legislation contend that these fears are exaggerated.
