The workshop, which ran for 12 weeks and was presented by Urban Word NYC and Governess Films, gave a diverse group of participants an opportunity to explore the challenges and opportunities they experience as youth of immigrant parents in New York City.
Hear their poetry, shared stories and the short film next Wednesday, June 20th.
